High-quality Manufacturing Process
First, select the appropriate silicone material based on the product requirements, such as liquid silicone, food-grade silicone, or commercial-grade silicone. Next, design and fabricate the mold. We commonly use P20 steel and 718S steel material. CNC machining to create precision molds. We can customize various shapes, such as threads, flanges, and chamfers, to meet your specific needs. Liquid silicone is injected into the mold using an injection molding machine and vulcanized under a certain temperature and pressure. After demolding, cooling for a period of time. Some products with minor burrs are trimmed to remove burrs to improve precision. UV printing is available upon request. After passing the quality inspection, the product will be packaged.

- Manufacturing Process
Silicone plugs tend to shrink slightly during manufacturing; this is standard. The rate of shrinkage of silicone material is generally correlated with the hardness of the silicone material. Silicone material the shrinkage rate commonly is 1.022 -1.042 based on our production situation and manufacturer’s standards. A shrinkage ratio of 1.03 is typically selected for materials with hardness between 40 to 50 degrees. It should be noted that shrinking of silicone articles does not generate appreciable surface imperfections or dimensional deviations as does plastic. We control the molds and the production to make sure silicone plugs’ size and quality can fulfill your demands.
